This looks like an interesting place to chill out with like minded people.

I just left this comment on Matt's blog about tips for marketing and PR, but what I forgot to offer is some books if you guys are interested. We publish what I like to call Business books with Soul...check out our website at www.bkconnection.com...we have books on creating sustainable green businesses, time management, email control, leadership, women in business and so much more...If you are interested i can send you both some review copies. Just send me your address...many of our authors blog and can write articles for your site...I can also offer you free excerpts from our book.
Please sign up for our newsletter...it is in the top right corner of the website...it's really fun and quirky.
I look forward to hearing from you..

Nice to meet you. I think we have a similar desire...to find young people who are interested in business (even after the devastating events of the past year). I have luck reaching out to business schools...find their alumni magazines and newsletters...most likely social networking with the student groups is the best way to go.
There are also new MBA programs in sustainability and I think that's where this younger, more socially aware group will congregate. Green is upon us...there will hopefully be many new jobs in business that focus on sustainability and renewable energy.
I have a huge interest in the psychographics of the various generations:
My theories:
Boomers will live forever! the era of the scooter is upon us! they will never stop working
Gen X (myself)...we are a tweener generation trying to fit in...we are working hard right now with not alot of hope of moving up because those boomers won't quit!!
Gen Y ...the ultra techie, yet down to earth generation...more interested in what technology can do for them rather than what they can do for technology...the soccer generation of team spirit and fair play
Millenials - this sweet generations cares more about people, the environment, and animals than business and the bottom line. they are less gender biased than any generation so far and barely see race. they are a global generation brought together and nurtured by the internet...i think they will save the world!
So, those are some of my thoughts. You probably don't have much money to spend so a grassroots approach is your best bet! go to our website at www.bkconnection.com and click on the "auhors only" tab...it not password protected...then proceed to our tip sheets. there is a whole tip sheet dedicated to grass roots marketing efforts. feel free to check out any of our tip sheets. You might also check out a book called The New Rules of Marketing and PR" by David Meerman Scott. It is excellent! I look forward to learning more about your community! katie
One of the goals i'm trying to reach for my project is to create more awareness and exposure of a luxury goods e-store. I know we sell the same product but at a much lower price than retail stores and we're trying to work on excellent customer service. Any resources you can direct me to? Greatly appreciate it.
